In constant search of truth on her musical journey, Regina Sayles’ acoustic-driven melodies connect you to the everyday human condition. As a vocal chameleon, Regina sings to the center of life’s heart strings. As an Ohio native currently based in East Stroudsburg, PA, Regina tours whenever possible while remaining passionately dedicated to her local fan base.

Regina plays 100+ live shows a year at every type of venue, including pubs, restaurants, concert halls, music festivals, and community fairs. She’s traveled to various pockets of the country to perform, with regular gigs in PA, OH, NJ, NY, and DE. In addition to her solo shows, Regina has had the opportunity to open for folk pioneer Tret Fure, and feminist icon Ani DiFranco.

Sayles has released two solo Eps, It’s Home and The Ann Street Session. While most of Regina’s career has focused on solo endeavors, in 2015 she teamed up with singer/songwriter Christian Porter and formed the duo, Porter & Sayles. The duo had the opportunity to open for Pat Benatar, The Steve Miller Band, Frankie Ballard, and Dan+Shea. Porter & Sayles released their self-titled debut album in 2016 and released two additional singles. In 2019, the duo earned a spot as a featured act on the Melissa Etheridge Cruise. Regina and Christian both returned to solo endeavors in 2019 but remain friends and work to support one another whenever possible.

In July 2023, Regina was invited to compete as an emerging artist at the 47th annual National Women’s Music Festival in Madison, WI. Thanks to the support of the festival goers, she won the contest and will return to Madison as a headliner in 2024.

Regina is currently recording a new EP thanks to the support of her fans who helped her raise $31,000 through a Kickstarter campaign in early 2023. She is thrilled to be working with producer Julie Wolf who also produced her latest single, “Rollin’ in the Hay.” Make sure you follow Regina on social media for album updates!

In addition to her work as an artist, Regina is also a passionate educator, a supporter of women in the arts, and a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. With each project, she aims to narrow the gender gap in the music industry by teaming up with more women/non-binary individuals as writers and producers. With Berklee Online certificates in Pro Tools and Ableton Live, she seeks to empower young writers and producers to use technology to create the music they envision. Regina has worked as an artist-in-residence at the K-12 as well as collegiate level, leading workshops in production and songwriting. Sayles also frequently plays school assemblies in local elementary school to promote positive character development through music. “My goal is to help each student I come into contact with learn the things I wish I had known sooner.”
